I changed the NMEA2000 device instance on my VesselView7 to eliminate bus collisions with my SCX20 satellite compass on GPS and heading PGNs.
I want the SCX20 to have highest priority, so I changed the VV7 from 0 to 1 and left the SCX20 at 0.

After that, I couldn't reset the "fuel used" totals in the VV7. The totals continue to increase correctly.
Changing device instance back to 0 fixes the problem, although it takes a power cycle for the change to take effect.

Fuel Used is maintained inside the VV7 from fuel burn rate which it gets from the SmartCraft engine network.
That feature doesn't need NMEA2000 at all, so is difficult to imagine how changing device instance could affect resetting fuel used.

The boat is a Sabre48 with Cummins QSC8.3's and Zeus pods. VV7 software is 5.0.43.579.
