I operate a commercial boat that is a very noisy environment. It is an aluminum boat with two diesel engines and the entire vessel is one big sounding board.

I need to be able to hear and respond on VHF, and I'd like intercom to talk to others aboard, and I'd like to listen to media on my cell phone when circumstances allow.

Can you help me identify the technologies that will address these issues? I'm thinking active noise cancelation headsets with interface to one or more of my marine VHF radios, vessel intercom, and connection to my cellphone.

I know David Clark makes these systems but I don't know if there are alternatives.

Larry, I suspect that David Clark is your best bet, but Ben Stein did review Eartec and Sena headsets for less noisy environments
