The MAX infinite-contrast OLED hi-res phone easily obsoletes "chartplotters". Any scuttlebutt on real standalone radar for these and the already brilliant mobile marine app universe???, noting that 7.2 degree mag-beam 1min dinosaurs with no watchman/trails/3rd party app support-overlay that orphan-wifi the device away from other resident marine/safety apps is not useful - at best intentionally dumb&dumber to deadend the "pad" trend (is any blood still getting to the desperate hands of the chartplotter-extortion?). Ultra low-current solidstate radar for the up & coming "not made of money" boaters' safety is ethical, happyface.

The "Furuno WiFi radar" is a middle-finger to smart phone/pad apps, widely reviewed by farmers as unable to find the broad side of a barn.

the "1st Watch" radar works with iCow, the blurry 7.2 degree beam is perfect for the new sniff-watch feature (can at least let you know when you've stepped in it) - boots looking better and better every day!
