    I can add a couple of words about the internals of this device. The “Linux PC” actually is BeagleBoard xM. I’m also wondering, what interface do they use to connect the camera. There is dedicated camera connector on the board, and on the third photo it’s clearly visible – it’s not connected. It makes me thinking that camera uses the USB port. Maybe, there are some reasons for that (the first one – price tag of cameras for dedicated port, the second – length limitations of camera interface), but anyway, using the dedicated camera port could make picture better.
