Anyone know why Icom is holding to the old 2 watt (rather than 5 watt) ais standard? Otherwise, lovely standalone.

Well, emailed Icom tech support - no response, panbo - ditto, so tried Will Smith who spent a whole movie looking for anyone - no response. So, ais no longer needed!, no one out there...
