I don’t see the new MFDs at FurunoUSA yet, but they are here, detailed brochure included: https://navnet.com/tztouchxl

Also, I used the new TZ Maps with the TZ iBoat app last season, and liked them a lot. See: https://mytimezero.com/tz-maps-catalog/

But I’m having trouble calling this new hardware and software series TZTouchXL because Furuno introduced big TZT3 screens with the same name in Miami last year.
    How about TZTouchX or TZTx?

I think I get it now: The big TZT22X and TZT24X MFDs dubbed TZTouchXL and added to the TZT3 line last year are simply getting new firmware this year, and leading a new series of smaller MFDs named after them.

This is tough news (it means an upgrade) but also good news. I have TZT3, but with TZ Pro 5, it’s basically relegated to a radar/camera screen as the charts on TZT3 are not nearly as good as TZ Maps. Now I just need an idea of ports (previously only 16”+ had HDMI in), prices, and availability date 🙂

Sven, the specs are toward the back of the brochure, but not sure they changed much. The 16x, 22x, and 24x all sport: “Input: 1 port (NTSC/PAL) and 1 port HDMI 1920 x 1080p or less (progressive only)” plus “Output: 1 port (HDMI 1080p)”. Meanwhile the 10x and 13x only have “Input: 1 port (NTSC/PAL) ”

Also, Ben Stein is working on a TZTouchXL entry but I don’t know if he got pricing and ship dates at the press conference yesterday.

Thanks Ben – found the .pdf brochure which has everything I need including dimensions and cutout specs! Now to see what surgery my dash needs to fit one in. Looking forward to other Ben’s entry and getting one in my hands.
