Revatek Altion Regulator Unlocks Full Victron Energy DVCC Integration with Venus OS v3.60

Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin – June 18, 2025Revatek, a leader in mobile power management, today announced its Altion Alternator Regulator now achieves 100% compatibility with all Victron Energy alternator charging features, including full support for Distributed Voltage and Current Control (DVCC). This landmark integration, enabled by Victron’s new Venus OS v3.60 firmware, allows the Altion to operate as a fully managed, intelligent component within the sophisticated Victron ecosystem.

This deep, two-way integration transforms system management for users of both platforms. The Altion regulator now not only sends comprehensive alternator data to the Victron network but also receives and executes precise charging commands from it. This allows the Altion to participate directly in the system-wide, automated charging optimization directed by the Victron GX device.

Key benefits of this full integration include:

  • Advanced DVCC Charging: The Altion regulator seamlessly follows charging commands from the Victron Cerbo GX and Lynx Smart BMS. This allows the entire power system—including solar, shore power, and now the alternator—to work in perfect harmony, ensuring batteries are charged with maximum efficiency and safety based on the needs of the entire system.
  • Complete System Visibility: Alternator performance is now displayed in detail on Victron GX devices like the Cerbo GX and Ekrano GX. Users can monitor critical stats including voltage, current, temperature, field output percentage, and current charge stage right on their main system display.
  • Full Victron Remote Management (VRM) Integration: A major benefit is the Altion’s visibility within the Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal. VRM is Victron’s powerful cloud-based platform that allows users to monitor and manage their system from anywhere in the world. Boat owners, RV users, and off-grid system managers can now check their alternator’s real-time performance and historical data alongside all their other power components on one unified dashboard.

“This is the integration our most advanced users have been asking for, and we are thrilled to deliver it,” said Greg Revelle, CEO and Founder of Revatek. “Our initial integration provided visibility, but full DVCC compatibility is a game-changer. It elevates the Altion from being a best-in-class standalone regulator to a truly intelligent, managed device within the Victron ecosystem. For users building robust power systems, this means smarter, safer, and more efficient charging, completely automated by Victron.”

To enable this advanced functionality, users should ensure their Victron GX device is updated to Venus OS v3.60 and their Revatek Altion regulator is running firmware Version 20250520 or higher.
