The new Siren app and platform will also offer many possible benefits to boatbuilders and dealers:

While the “Connected Boat Customer Experience” sounds like it can also benefit end users, a Siren representative noted in an online press conference earlier this week that the company takes customer privacy rights very seriously.

Not sure if it is just me — but this update seriously made the app worse.
    1) On ipad – it just shows a screen the size of a phone. so no additional context
    2) the icons are bigger – so shows less – need to push ‘view all’
    3) I don’t see the short red/orange update flash that showed a new reading
    4) The graphs start at 0 rather than relative – so things like battery voltage which have 1 or so volt swings don’t really show up as they used to.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

Chris, I agree. The new app requires a lot more tapping to get around and I miss the true iPad support. I was not aware of the graph scale issue until I read your post, for voltages an expanded scale is needed, anything below 10 volts is useless. I don’t see any benefits for a user that does not have Yamaha outboards. We were forced into the new app because they immediately disabled the old app. The old app was MUCH better in my opinion.
