Hello everyone,
I am repairing a Furuno FCV-295 fish finder.
The unit has a boot/startup problem: it gets stuck on the blue startup screen. I have already performed extensive hardware troubleshooting and also searched extensively for similar cases online. At this point, I suspect that the problem may be related to the firmware or memory contents.
Unfortunately, there is no official Furuno service support available to me in my country, and the firmware update/recovery procedure through USB appears to require official dealer/service tools.

However, I believe there may still be a way to recover the unit because the firmware is stored in a Spansion S29JL064J70TFI00 NOR Flash IC (48-pin TSOP) located on the second board. The memory should be readable using a suitable programmer tool.
So I would like to ask:
Has anyone here ever read the Flash memory from a working Furuno FCV-295 and made a complete memory dump?
I am looking specifically for:

A complete raw dump of the S29JL064J70TFI00

A full 8 MB Flash image from a working FCV-295

If you have a working FCV-295, an old/failed FCV-295 board with an intact Flash IC, or you have previously performed this procedure, I would greatly appreciate your help.
I am also willing to pay a reasonable amount for the dump, or for the technician's time and work required to read the Flash memory from a working unit.
If you know a technician, service center, or another source where such a dump might be available, I would also greatly appreciate any information.

Thank you very much for any help.
