JBL elevates marine soundbar experience with launch of its second-generation RALLYBAR

STAMFORD, CONN. – February 12, 2026 – HARMAN International Industries, the premier connected technologies company for automotive, consumer and enterprise markets, announced today the next evolution in marine soundbars with the unveiling of the second-generation RALLYBAR.
Following the successful debut of the RALLYBAR Series in 2023, JBL is back with an enhanced mobile audio soundbar lineup for the marine environment, now expanded into a four-model family. Offered in two 21-inch models — RALLYBAR S2 and RALLYBAR 2 – as well as the 35‑inch RALLYBAR XL2. Each model features marine‑grade 2.75‑inch woofers, one‑inch tweeters, and racetrack passive radiators, paired with the all‑new JBL Pro Sound with AI Sound Boost for an enhanced on‑water listening experience.
An upgraded and lighter-weight construction makes the IP67-rated RALLYBAR Gen 2 family impervious to mud and water, while new innovative mounting kit designs allow for even more installation applications than previous models. With a minimal-footprint design, RALLYBARs can be pedestal-, hard top- or tower-mounted without interfering with head clearance or line of sight. For RIBs, small center consoles or pontoons it offers an all-in-one audio solution, while on larger vessels it can enhance existing audio systems.
The RALLYBAR S2 and 2 models include eight marine-grade speakers (four woofers, two tweeters, and two radiators) and is powered by a built-in class D 150W RMS amplifier, while the XL2 has ten marine-grade speakers (eight woofers, two tweeters, and four radiators, allowing for bass response of a 10-inch subwoofer) and is powered by a built-in class D 300W RMS amplifier. All RALLYBAR Gen 2 models incorporate Bluetooth® 5.4, USB and 3.5mm aux-in/out, as well as a new RCA input.
“The original RALLYBAR changed the landscape of marine audio soundbars and the next-generation are poised to take that experience to another level,” said Kent Jopling, Senior Global Sales Manager, Special Markets. “Now even more durable, lightweight and packed with elevated technologies, RALLYBAR 2 will truly bring the party anywhere. Using proven Harman and JBL audio innovations, these new soundbars are sure to offer the ultimate audio solution to any boater.”
RALLYBAR can be used as a standalone audio system or can be incorporated into existing audio systems through Bluetooth or the Aux input. It has current sensing, allowing all linked speakers to automatically turn on and pair when used as a larger audio system, as well as enter a sleep mode when not in use. No matter the application, the devices can be linked together via Bluetooth with Harman’s proprietary Auracast™ allowing connectivity to as many enabled speakers that are in range for a bigger party at the sandbar or on the dock.
The RALLYBAR S2 is available in white at a suggested retail price of $699.95, while the RALLYBAR 2 and RALLYBAR XL2 are available in either white or black at a suggested retail price of $899.95 and $1,199.95, respectively.
