RE: Evinrude Etec Gen 1 Setup Well, I got access to the NMEA data in my 115 E-TEC with pleasing results: But as I wrote, Evinrude is not very clear about how to do it and what you'll get. Here are some good alternate info sources... |

RE: Radars Your 4G should have lasted longer, but most do, I think. Not sure how you can get anything but another B&G without also getting another MFD or PC. But then again you can replace the 4G or step up ... |

RE: Best Package for 85' World Cruiser Quite a boat, Nick! I don't think that you can go too far wrong with any of the major brand nav systems, but personally I'd be thinking of Furuno TZT3 displays with dual Doppler radars and DFF3D mult... |

RE: Adding AIS to a mature vessel Chris, does the Si-Tex AIS have a NMEA 2000 port? If so, I think that the Actisense W2K-1 is an excellent WiFi gateway: If the output is only NMEA 0183 -- besides for the USB -- you might consider th... |

RE: New ICOM VHF fixed & handheld Thanks, Tom! I don't know why ICOM has not made a big deal about it yet, but the M510 is much more than a beautiful color screen in a smaller format: www.icomamerica.com/en/products/marine/mountedvh... |
