Comment comment

A Panbo reader reports that TypeKey, needed to make comments here, does not work in Firefox 2, which I haven’t tried yet. As best I can tell, it does work fine in Firefox 1.5 and Internet Explorer. If you’re having trouble making comments, please don’t hesitate to e-mail me to bitch or just to have me post your comment. Thanks.

all appears well here maybe they need to enable cookies.

I have yet to experience TypeKey problems with Firefox 2, it’s probably browser settings…

  4. I had a problem with Firefox 2 signing me in automatically. For some reason (loose nut on the keyboard?) a bad password was in the queue of saved passwords under Tools/Options/Security etc. Deleted that and all is OK.

Thanks for the feedback on Firefox useage – I know I checked the cookie settings when I first had problems, but lo and behold, I just checked them again, and saw that “www.typekey.com” had been set to “Allow for session” which is obviously not enough – changed to “Allow” and all is now good. Great in fact! Thank you!

TypeKey does not seem to “remember” me. I check the box about remember for two weeks, but I always have to sign in again.
