Monitor multiple functions from a single display with the M2 Vessel Systems Monitor from Blue Sea Systems

Building on their commitment to meaningful innovation, Blue Sea Systems is proud to announce the release of the M2 Vessel Systems Monitor. “With so much technology on boats today, it is critical to keep track of all of the different systems”, Stated Justin Kaufman, Product Manager for Blue Sea Systems. “The M2 Vessel Systems Monitor simplifies monitoring by allowing the boater to keep track of several key functions from a single location.”

The Vessel Systems Monitor (VSM) is a compact OLED module that monitors several important functions on a boat. The OLED display provides a bright, clear readout that is visible in daylight and through polarized
lenses. In addition, the M2 VSM will be NMEA 2000 compatible with certification pending. All of the data can be broadcast to an MFD or display screen that is also on the NMEA network. This compact VSM performs comprehensive monitoring of four critical systems: DC System, AC System, Bilge, and Tanks

DC System: One input monitors DC Voltage, state of charge, and current for one battery bank, and another input monitors the voltage of an additional battery bank. Alarms include high and low voltage, high current,
and low battery.



AC System: The VSM monitors a single AC voltage, current, and frequency. Alarms include high and low voltage, high current, and high and low frequency.

Bilge and Tanks: VSM has two inputs that can be configured as a bilge or tank monitor. When configured as a bilge input, monitoring functions include pump active, cycle counts, average cycles, and total cycles. Alarms can be sent for run times as well as number of cycles. When configured as a tank monitor, status can be represented in both capacity or as a percentage of capacity. Custom tank shapes can be calibrated or programmed. Both high and low level alarms can be set for all tanks.

The VSM from Blue Sea Systems will be available in October of 2019.
