I have an older Simrad AP 22 autopilot with NMEA 0183 connections that I am wondering whether it can be connected to NMEA 2000 network that will work with my new Garmin plotters and other NMEA 2000 equipment? The autopilot was previously connected to a Ray Marine chart plotter and it worked well. Only difference today is I now have NMEA 2000 network and new Garmin equipment.
