Getting ready to replace our old C80 on our sailboat. Will likely stick with a Raymarine MFD for ease of connection to existing components (instruments and autopilot). I am looking at the Axiom+ series but it has been out for a while. I believe they upgraded the software not long ago. Is there any indication that they will be upgrading the internals, i.e. chips and motherboard, in the near future? I don't know when or if they upgraded these in the recent past.
