I am looking for the latest info re proper equipment to buy. I primarily cruise throughout the Great Lakes. Hopefully starting the Loop soon. Unlikely to get much more than 20nms offshore. Will not use for business or gaming.

I did an install for a guy who got away with using just a starlink mini on his boat. Mainly a bayliner though. Also look into KVH if you are just looking for service not too far off shore. Starlink is great for deep offshore boating.
