Victron Ekrano GX Communication Centre
The Ekrano GX represents the next generation in the GX product family. With its complete range of connections and interfaces as well as its integrated 7-inch touchscreen display, it is the most powerful GX device to date and allows you to always have perfect control over your system from wherever you are and to maximize its performance. Simply access your system via our Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal, or access it directly, using the built-in touchscreen, a Multi-Functional Display (MFD) or our VictronConnect app thanks to its Bluetooth capability.
The Ekrano GX is also the successor to the Color Control GX.
Perfect monitoring & control
Instantly monitor the battery state of charge, power consumption, power harvest from PV, generator, and mains, or check tank levels and temperature measurements. Easily control the shore power input current limit, (auto)start/stop generator(s) or change any setting to optimise the system. Follow up on alerts, perform diagnostic checks and resolve challenges remotely. The Ekrano GX turns any power challenge into an effortless experience.
Expand your view
The integrated 7-inch touchscreen allows you to have an instant overview of your system and adjust settings in the blink of an eye. Its super slim waterproof design offers a lot of flexibility in designing a crisp and clean dashboard. The touch function can be disabled (or enabled) via a recessed button on the back to prevent unauthorized use.
Simple mounting and configuration
The Ekrano GX is optimized for flush panel or blind hole mounting and has all necessary mounting material supplied. Screw-on terminal blocks keep everything securely in place.
Outsmart any power challenge
The Ekrano GX serves endless purposes, extending perfect control to the most diverse applications. For solutions including generators, such as Marine, or Offgrid & Backup, it will auto-start/stop your generator, or delays ignition until the end of ‘quiet’ periods. For Energy Storage Systems it keeps backup batteries at 100%, kicks in during power-cuts and diverts excess (solar) power to self-consumption, saving you money. For RV and Emergency vehicles it keeps vital systems functioning flawlessly. But that’s just to name a few…

The Offgrid Shop in Austria nicely sums up this new device with: “The Victron Energy Ekrano GX is a fully encapsulated all-in-one system consisting of a GX device and a waterproof 7” display. Perfectly suited for installation in demanding environments such as ships.” They also suggest that the cost — 714 euros ($768), at their discount — compares well to the combination of a Cerbo GX and GX Touch 70 it can replace.

It definitely looks good to me as well, but I do notice that it has less digital, tank, and temp inputs than the Cerbos that Ben Stein and I have both deeply appreciated over the last few years:

PS “Ekrano” apparently means screen in Esperanto, with roots in French and Russian.
Also, useful table comparing Ekrano to Cerbo and other GX devices here:

i rather like it.. it does seem suited for installs where good access behind is available. we mount cerbo-s in plant rooms and run the touch 50 into a b pillar with very limited depth. so .. what am i saying, im just waffling on now. yep its groovy! victron keeps coming out with some groovy stuff for sure.
how about a nmea2k smartshunt victron…hint hint
Thanks, Moose and I agree that an N2K SmartShunt could be nice. In fact, it seems like Airmar is thinking along similar lines, see photo at bottom of this new release:

Also, Simarine now has an N2K gateway for their many shunt models:

I’m liking it too but as I think of most of my installs, I’ve appreciated being able to put the Cerbo in a mechanical space, close to the electrical devices. I recognize some installs will work better with the all-in-one device than others but it bears considering.

Its a bit disappointing in that even with all the various inputs, one can only display one battery bank. It would seem that a display with so many inputs would accommodate multiple banks. I currently have a 12V bank and a 24V bank with 12V loads sufficiently large to not be satisfied by voltage to voltage converters. Sigh
